February 12, 2018 CCWCD began filling Phase 1C Pond at Rinn Valley Reservoir Complex. Water is being run into Phase 3 Pond directly from Rural Ditch and then pumped from there to Phase 1C using a pump at the rate of 10 cfs. This water is being diverted under Rinn priority.

Phase 2 Pond will be ready to fill within the next couple weeks depending on the “CALL” status of the Saint Vrain River and Boulder Creek. Once Phase 2 Pond is full the Rinn Valley Complex will be completely full.

Once completed the Rinn Valley Complex will add approximately 2500-acre feet of active storage to the GMS augmentation plan.
